Hi! My name is Sidhant Unnithan, a Computer Science undergraduate from Cochin University of Science and Technology

I am currently working as a Software Engineer at Pramana, an nference inc company, where I am primarily engaged in the Research & Development of Image Processing and Computer Vision Algorithms. You can read more about my work here

Previously I interned at Flexiple, where I designed, engineered and integrated the entire Courses Pipeline into the buildd.co website

Before that, I interned at Cutshort, a hiring platform that heavily leverages AI to match recruiters and candidates. Here, along with other contributions, I owned, created and maintained a service that allowed recruiters to sync candidate data between Cutshort's inhouse Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with a 3rd party ATS of their choice

Pramana, an nference inc company, is a health-tech company with a focus on revolutionizing Digital Pathology as a Service

Re-designed the Tissue Localization Pipeline, achieving a 75% reduction in compute time from 2 minutes to 30 seconds
Optimized the scan area calculation to achieve upto 50% reduction in scan time for 1 microscope slide
Implemented and trained a U-NET Model for Tissue Fold Detection and Segmentation at high magnification with a dice score of 0.75
Designed a universal Docker image to ensure platform-independent and seamless system operations across all systems in the company
Engineered Image Processing algorithms to classify adipose tissue, scratch marks, thick tissue, debris and pen marks in Whole Slide Images and successfully deployed on 2+ million slides and counting
Designed and implemented algorithms to enhance the Automated Quality Control of post-scan Whole Slide Images (WSIs)
